German car maker Volkswagen has time and again proved its worth in technology and Vento is one of them on which it can bank upon. The Volkswagen Vento was launched in India in 2010 as a premium segment car and has been a popular option since then.

The all new Volkswagen Vento is available in two different engine variants namely 1.6 L Petrol (TL/CL/HL) and 1.6L CR Diesel (TL/CL/HL) engines. The 1.6 L Petrol engine is a 4 Cylinder In-line DOHC with 1598 cc displacement and an option between 5 speed manual transmission and 6 speed automatic transmission. It can churn out maximum power of 105 PS (77 KW) @ 5250 rpm and maximum torque of 153 NM @ 3800 rpm. The 1.6 L Diesel petrol engine is also 4 Cylinder In-line DOHC with 1598 cc displacement and can churn out maximum power of 105 PS (77 KW) @ 4400 rpm and maximum torque of 250 NM @ 1500-2500 rpm.
The vehicle has McPherson strut with stabiliser bar suspension in the front and Semi-independent trailing arm in the rear. The front wheels have disc brakes while the rear has drum brakes.
The petrol engine promises to deliver a fuel efficiency of 14.4 kmpl for automatic transmission engine & 15.04 kmpl for manual transmission while the diesel engine promises to deliver fuel efficiency of 20.5 kmpl.
In terms of look, Volkswagen Vento has got a stylish appeal. The front portion of Vento is somewhat similar to that of Polo. It has got a chrome front radiator grille that offers it a classy look.
