Next to the base variant of Nissan Micra Petrol XL is the XL Optional (O) - it comes adorned with some extra elements along with the standard features offered in the Petrol XL.
The 1198 cc three cylinder engine of Micra XL (O) churns out a power of 75bhp @ 6000rpm and has a maximum torque of 104Nm @ 4000rpm. Let’s delve into those extra features that supplement the standard ones:
Externally, the XL (O) does not have any more features or accessories than the standard Micra XL. It comes with the same body coloured bumpers & rear view door mirrors, tinted glasses and chrome finished 2 part front grille. Like the base variant, the optional model of XL also has 165/70 R14 steel wheels.
The looks and feel of the cabin for this alternative again are similar to the XL. Dashboard with roundish design is in harmony with the exterior of the car. What makes the practically designed cabin of the XL (O) a degree better than the base variant is the music system with FM radio, aux-in and USB ports. You can also pair your smartphone with the Bluetooth hands free system provided in this car. This helps to make and receive calls without taking your hands off the steering wheel.
Comfort and Convenience
Micra XL (O) is well equipped with all the comfort features fitted in the XL. So what are the extra comfort elements in here? It’s the change in ignition – Nissan has given an intelligent push button start system in this one. Another comfort feature in the XL (O) is a luggage lamp in the boot so that you can check and reach out for your stuff easily.
To add to the range of basic safety features that Micra Petrol XL provides, the superior variant also has Anti Lock brake system (ABS) along with Electronic brake distribution (EBD) and Brake Assist (BA). The air bag once again is only for the driver.
In terms of basic built the Micra XL (O) is very similar to its twin - the XL. It is primarily because of the ABS and the integrated music system that you need to pay a few bucks more for this variant of the petrol hatch.
