Mahindra and Mahindra XUV700

Mahindra XUV 700 is a 7 seater SUV based upon SsangYong Rexton. The car is expected to make its debut in the Indian market in the latter half of 2018 and Mahindra quote unveiled this car for the Indian customers at the upcoming Auto Expo. XUV 700 is expected to pitted against the likes of Toyota Fortuner and Ford Endeavour. This SUV is touted to be powered by 2.2-liter turbocharged diesel engine capable of putting out 188PS along with 420 Newton metre of max torque. Mahindra will use all-new body on frame chassis which it has outsourced from its South Korean acquisition, SsangYong. XUV700 is essentially the rebadged version of SsangYong Rexton which has already been on sale in select International markets. Initially previewed as a LIV-2 concept on the Paris Motor Show (2016), this new SUV is expected to offer a decent combination of style and performance. It is also be counted as the most expensive model in the Mahindra line-up. Mahindra is expected to bring this SUV to India via completely knock down (CKD) route and will assemble it here in its facility in Pune. Expect the car to offer luxurious features and roomy cabin space for travel of 7-persons in comfort. The wheelbase of the car is rated at 2685 mm which means there will be ample amount of space available in all the three rows. As this new SUV will be up against the lights of Toyota Fortuner and Ford Endeavour, Mahindra must give special attention to the features and quality of the car. Any lacking on the feature and equipment front could spoil the prospects of upcoming XUV 700.

Fortuner Vs Endeavour full blown SUV Competing for Buyers Wallet. Real SUV for SUV lovers from Toyota and Ford. Endeavour and Fortuner comes in 4*2 and 4*4 drive train. Fortunately both have the muscle, looks and power under their hoods to take any terrain with ease. Whilst, on paper feature to feature and engine comparison seems to be tilting the balance in favour of the Endeavour, however, Toyota has enough fan following who will willingly ignore any marquee for a Toyota at any price. Lucky Toyota.
