Ford Figo is a popular hatchback manufactured by Ford India. It is based on the mark V European Ford Fiesta hatchback and is in the Indian and the international market since 2010. Under the hood, the new Ford Figo petrol variant is equipped with 1.2 L Duratorq, 1196cc displacement and 16 Valve DOHC engine. It can churn out a maximum power of 71 PS @6250 rpm and maximum torque of 102 NM @4000 rpm. It has an SEFI fuel system The Ford Figo diesel variant is equipped with 1.4 L Duratorq, 1399cc displacement and 8 Valve SOHC engine. It promises to deliver maximum power of 69 PS @4000 rpm and maximum torque of 160 PS @2000 rpm. It has a common rail fuel system.
The 1.2 L Duratorq petrol engine can deliver fuel efficiency of 12.3 kmpl in city road conditions and about 15.5 kmpl on the highways where as the 1.4 L Duratorq can deliver a mileage of 17.0 kmpl in city road conditions and about 20.0 kmpl on the highways.
