Petrol heads in India have another reason to celebrate as Fiat has finally launched Abarth brand here. Abarth 595 competizione has been arrived before though its steep pricing is not generating good sales from the market. Nonetheless Fiat has launched competizione as halo product which is expected to give a push to propositions like newly launched Abarth Punto. While the changes on the outside are not very prominent save for the new grille, new car has got healthy dose of steroid under the hood. Powered by 1.4-litre, 4 - cylinder, 16 valves DOHC architecture the output is rated at 145 PS of max power and 212 Nm of max torque on Punto. These figures make this car as the most powerful in its categories, and in fact even many higher classes. Further, the Fiat has lowered the suspension height of Abarth Punto to 155 mm in order to give more dynamism to this ruggedly styled car. Abarth Punto has got 16 inch scorpion alloy wheels with disc brakes on all the four wheels. Fiat logo has been replaced by Abarth moniker.
