Comparison New Ritz vs Old Ritz

Maruti Suzuki has made Some changes In New Ritz which makes it different from the old one. Also, they have managed pricing quite well. Comparison New Ritz vs Old Ritz

Difference Bewteen New Ritz and Old Ritz

Difference between Old and New Ritz from Maruti Suzuki

Maruti Launches the new Ritz, without any fanfare, whilst it was scheduled for the launch last month, it was postponed to 3/4th of September 2012, even that will not happen now, as the dealer were told to start selling the New Ritz. Even the pricing has been declared.

Maruti we believe has done the most sensible thing by making the arrival of the New Ritz a low key affair. After-all not much has changed, except for a new Diesel Variant ZDI and a Mileage increase. New Ritz offers 23.2 KMPL Vs 21.1 KMPL.

The Biggest change is, that the New Ritz has started looking like the New Swift from the front. The similarity is so uncanny, that at a first glance you will be excused if you were to call it the Swift . We believe with supply constraints on Swift, this might help Ritz to gain more sales numbers, thus ensuring that Maruti does not lose Swift sales to competing brands due to long waiting period on Swift.

The New Ritz is different from old Ritz in following areas:

New Side Moulding

New Aggressive Grill  and Headlamps (Or is it the Swift Grill and headlamps)

New Rear Spoiler

Dual Tone Interiors

Multi Information Display

Improved Lumbar Support in Rear Seat

Electrically Adjustable Outside Rear View Mirror (ORVM)

USB Port

Day and Night Internal Rear View Mirror (IRVM)

The New Ritz does come with a price hike. Given below is variant wise price comparison

Ritz VXI (P)

Ritz ZXI (P)

Ritz VXI ABS (P)

Ritz LDI (D)

As always Maruti has managed pricing quite well. A max increase of Rs.13000 in LDI variant will not pinch the new car buyer too much and will ensure continuation of Ritz's current golden run.

Fortuner Vs Endeavour full blown SUV Competing for Buyers Wallet. Real SUV for SUV lovers from Toyota and Ford. Endeavour and Fortuner comes in 4*2 and 4*4 drive train. Fortunately both have the muscle, looks and power under their hoods to take any terrain with ease. Whilst, on paper feature to feature and engine comparison seems to be tilting the balance in favour of the Endeavour, however, Toyota has enough fan following who will willingly ignore any marquee for a Toyota at any price. Lucky Toyota.
