Value For Money
I use my Ritz primarily for office and city driving. Daily run is about 50 km with the average monthly travel of around 2000 km. Most of times the car has been used in city though on some occasion we have done long drives on highway in Ritz. Highway performance of car though is not very good as stability spoils the whole journey experience on the highways. I paid Rs.5.35 lacs fro my car plus another 10000 on basic accessories like: stereo, Speakers mud flaps and mats, rear spoiler etc.I have been driving the Ritz for an year now, done around 14000 Kms on it. Overall the experience has been quite satisfactory. I thought through ecardlr I will share my experience with my Ritz Petrol. To start with what I like the most is its high seating position (Just Like my Old Santro which I used for almost 6 years). This position ensures that I can see the road fully and from all sides. Being a tall car, the headroom is good and getting in & out of the car is equally comfortable. Thanks to good headroom Ritz feels quite spacious. Rear Seat Split is another convenient feature (Old Santro did not offer split seat) which has helped me with luggage at times when it’s required. At 13-14 Kmpl it is also easy on my pocket, more so today when the petrol prices have gone up so much and I have no choice but o continue driving my Ritz (I am definitely not unhappy with my Ritz at all). Engine is good to drive, very sporty and responsive. The gear level I believe is quite conveniently located, maybe it’s become my habit today, that’s why I am liking it, but still it’s easy to use, gears do not get stuck. The car does feel wobbly on highways, more so when another big vehicles passes by its side. Some issues with rear leg space and like all Indian small cars , this car is also good for 4. 5th Passenger in the rear is always a problem unless its s small child. But since this is a common problem as I have sat in the rear seat of my friends small cars, there too I have experienced similar problem. All in all even after a year I feel good about my Ritz. Go for it in case you are looking for a decent petrol car.
