BMW owned Mini brand today launched its V model in Indian market, the Mini clubman at a price of Rs 37.90 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). This is the second generation of Clubman which has become part of company's portfolio which comprises of countryman, mini 3 door, Mini 5 door and convertible models. The biggest highlight of this car is there ample amount of space available. Unlike the other Mini cars which focus more on the driving fun. Like other Mini cars, mini clubman will also imported as completely built unit (CBU) which partially explains its high price. Companies hoping to bring in some extra sales through this new addition and confident that in the future more and more buyers will prefer Mini brand free marques.

Mini clubman is powered by 2.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine capable of putting out 195 PS of max Power along with 280 NM of Max torque. This petrol motor is also doing the duty Under the Hood of cooper S and Cooper S convertible. This power is channelized to the front Wheels of the car wire 8-speed automatic transmission which offers a delightful combination of spirited driving and fuel efficiency. The card measures over 4.2 meters in length and comes with the wheelbase of 2670 mm, which is around 100 mm more than mini 5-door hatchback. Other styling elements are very much familiar; b8 Mini front grill, circular headlamps, and barn doors at the back which split from the middle.

Inside the cable there is no deviation from the retro theme that the company has adopted over the years. Centre-state comprises of large 8.8-inch touch screen infotainment system which is capable of catering to wide variety of needs of the occupants. It also offer ample of storage space which is very useful in storing nick next and other regular stuff. Even the boot space is decent rated at 360 litres although the loading lip could have been wider.
