Hyundai Motors India Limited has launched facelift Elite i20 in India at starting price of Rs 5.35 lakh. We get all the important details here.

South Korean automaker Hyundai used the 2018 auto expo platform to launch facelift version of its premium Elite i20 hatchback at a starting price of Rs 5.35 lakh. The top trim diesel variant of new Elite i20 has priced at Rs 9.16 lakh (both prices, ex-showroom, Delhi). The company has made important cosmetic changes on the outside and in accordance with the demands of the customers, has also incorporated some of the significant features in the cabin.

In terms of exteriors, the most prominent change is the new face with cascading black grill and mildly altered headlamp with LED DRLs. The bumpers have been reimagined while the new alloy wheels give the car more muscular character than the outgoing model. The changes in the back are minimal and require a keen eye to get noticed. Inside the cabin, there is large touchscreen infotainment system which now supports inbuilt navigation and connectivity options like apple carplay and Android auto.

However, there is no change as far as mechanicals and suspension hardware is concerned. This essentially means the new Elite i20 continues to rely upon 1.2-liter petrol engine and 1.4-litre diesel motor coupled with a 5-speed manual and 6-speed manual transmission respectively. It will be interesting to note that how the customers will react to the introduction of facelift Elite i20. This car has already got its place in the market and facelift model is likely to further expand its appeal among the target customers.
