Facelift Grandi10 Prime is all set to hit the Indian market. It will be available in a bigger engine and few cosmetic changes over the existing variant.

Hyundai is excited to introduce the new cars in the Indian market to meet the customers’ expectations. Considering the rivals in the market, the company always have to update its product line-up that has the capability to attract customers towards the dealerships across the country. Currently, the carmaker is excited to launch the facelift Grand i10 hatchback this year. If reports are to be believed, then it is revealed that Hyundai Grand i10 is likely to be available with a 1.2-litre diesel engine that will replace the 1.1-litre CRDi diesel engine. For bringing something new to the market, this South Korean automaker will introduce some decent cosmetic changes both interior and exterior in the car.

A report also revealed that the Grand i10 facelift would be named as Hyundai Grand i10 Prime. This car entered the market in the year 2013 and since then never looked backed and is a successful car for the company. Once the facelift version hit the market, it is sure that 2017 market will be a flourishing for Hyundai. Much before its launch in India, the car is already showcased at the Paris Motor Show last year where it gained high attention for visitors. For an appealing exterior, the car flaunts the big hexagonal grille along with the newly designed fog lamp. The global model would also get the round DRLs that will favour the traditional bar-type DRLs. Inside the cabin, the upcoming facelift Grandi10 would get a new touchscreen infotainment system in both diesel and petrol trims in top variants.

The available Grandi10 diesel is mated with the 1.1-litre, 3-cylinder engine that develops 70bhp of power and 160Nm of peak torque. The bigger 1.2-litre diesel engine is a 3-cylinder unit that gets an increased torque and power. It is also revealed that the power and other features of the facelift are alike the Maruti Suzuki Swift. This engine will be linked with the 5-speed manual transmission and its petrol trim most likely to get an automatic variant. Considering the price, the facelift variant is likely to be priced higher over the current variants in the market.
