Looking to step up the competition, ford is all set to launch EcoSport Titanium S in India on May 14. With this launch, the 1.0-liter EcoBoost petrol engine will also make a return on the EcoSport. As the name suggests, the S version will feature a stiffer suspension system for better handling and steering control, making it delight for the driving enthusiasts. The EcoSport Titanium S will sit at the top of price range and can be had with the 1.5-liter diesel engine too. In terms of features and equipment, the new Ford EcoSport Titanium S will get the added convenience of a sunroof, contrasting roof with exclusive orange job paint scheme, High-intensity discharge (HID) headlamps, large 17" alloy wheels on the outside while inside the cabin the new features will include the slightly modified instrument cluster with new large 4.2" TFT display and tyre pressure monitoring system. Further, the Ford has added the orange accents in the cabin to uplift the ambience. The new Ecosport S variant will also come with a new 6-speed manual transmission replacing the 5-speed unit of the existing model. The Ford is relying on the new models to bring in the extra chunk of buyers who are looking for more spirited and enthusiastic driving experience from the car. It's also an indication that company is willing to go the whole hog to take on the competition. Both the rivals of Ford EcoSport, i.e., Maruti Vitara Brezza and Tata Nexon are getting a better response and Ford is vying for the same.
