Force Motor launches “Force One” expands passenger vehicle portfolio

Force Motors “Force One” , a SUV, has been launched with two new models EX and SX.

Force Motors is a Pune based auto maker and expands its passenger vehicle portfolio by launching “Force One”, a Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV). Force Motors have always concentrated on customers’ needs by providing flexible vehicles to its customers. This vertically integrated automotive company produces country specific models and its presence in Middle East, Asia, Latin America and Africa signifies this.
The Force Motors “Force One” is launched in two new variants EX and SX that are priced Rs 8.99 lakh and 11.99 lakh respectively (Ex-showroom price in Delhi). Initially, it had launched it in August 2011 and now with the launch of third version of the same SUV, it is planning to strengthen its position in the passenger utility vehicle segment.
The new Force One SX packs a 2.2 litre common rail, DOHC 16 valves and a turbo-charged diesel engine that churns out a power of 141 Ps @ 3800 rpm, 4 Cylinder in line. It has a wheelbase of 3,025mm, length 4860 mm, width 1780 mm and height 1885 mm. Maximum torque 321 Nm @ 1600-2400 rpm and a fuel system common rail diesel injection and Emission status BS-IV with transmission type G32/5 synchromesh with dual mass flywheel and 5 forward gears and 1 reverse gear.
It has got front non driven stub axle and rear driven full floating axle type and has suspensions with independent double wishbone with coil spring and rear multi link with pan hard rod and coil spring and shock absorbers of gas charged telescopic shock absorber and anti roll bar on both front and rear axle. The steering is rack and pinion, power assisted collapsible and tilt able with protection guard and hydraulic operated single plate dry type 240 mm diameter clutches. Brakes type hydraulic vacuum assisted with LCRV, front ventilated disc with twin pot four piston calliper, rear drum with auto adjuster and parking mechanical linkage type. It has tubeless tyres of 235/70 R16 and 16” alloy wheels and the chassis type of C in C Ladder Type and the performance is fine tuned by Lotus Engineering. The variants EX and SX (in India) are of ABS and EBD and the LX is with ABS, EBD and 4x4 drive.
Its interior is made of wood finish with leather wrap steering wheel and sporty gear knob with chrome bezel and tilt able and collapsible steering for great comfort. Its seats are luxurious and comfortable with the headrests. The front facing seats have leather upholstered similar to the theatre seating.
Its exterior has ORVM with electrically operated mirrors with side turn indicators and an all new wrap around projector lamp with DRL and the daytime running LED lamps that switch on automatically when ignition is turned on and is over-ridden when wrap-around projector headlamps are activated. The Force One comes in colours of intense white, bold black, fierce red, emphatic grey and robust blue.
The company has sold over 2600 units of Force One since its launch in India and aims to sell around 2000 units in the current financial year and 5000 units in the year 2014-15. 
Force One is specifically designed for Indian rural roads that are uneven and difficult to drive as well as for the city roads.
