Honda finally, today, becomes a maa market player with the launch of it`s New Brio. Its first small car, which we are sure is expected to be a game chanegr for Honda in India. The expectation from Brio from the manufacturer is quite high. With recent price correction of its largest selling City and turnaround in volumes to earlier levels of 4000 + City every month. It`s finally happening. Delhi will have differential registartion cost for cars powered by diesel power plant vs by petrol power plants. Diesel car buyers would have to shell an additional 25% in regisration and road tax vs petrol car buyers from as early as monday the 26th onwards. This means that for cars under 6 lacs the registration and road tax for a diesel buyer would become 7.5% vs 6 % for petrol buyers in the same price range.
