GM announces the launch of Beat Diesel on 25th July 2011 and prices it aggresively, doing what was expected by the market. Whilst Fiesta kind of overpricced itself, GM seems to have got the pricing matrix right. The intention to garner higher market share is quite obvious. If market news is to be believed, they have produced over 5000 cars prior to teh lauch to ensure a smooth supply. Timing seems to be bang on with so much Hype on rising.....

As expected, RBI has not loosned its control on Inflation. Growing month on month inflation fears has left them with no option but to continue with their hawkish control on it and use interest rates as key tool to curb money supply into the system to prevent overheating. It has reaised both Reverse and Repo rate by 50 Basis Point today. Banks will follow soon and one can expect interest rate to harden across the board. Car market will get.....

Ford seems to be trimming Figo features to enqure price stability. Loads Titanium with Front Fog Lamps as an OE fitment. Trims Speakers and MP# player from EXI variant ORVM on ZXI becomes manually controlled, earlier they were elcetrically controlled. Rear Wipe & Wash also will not come as a OE fitment
