Continuing its ongoing efforts to spur the overall demand, Land Rover has launched facelifted edition of its best-selling Evoque SUV in India. Priced at Rs 47.1 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), the 2016 Range Rover Evoque comes with a host of cosmetic changes. These changes include both external as well as internal alterations, and are expected to further appeal of the SUV among Indian masses.

Range Rover Evoque is, by far, the most successful and proportioned SUV in JLR stable. It has done wonders for the company not only here in India but also around the world. One of the biggest draw of the car is its rugged yet sophisticated turn out, which has been further made attractive in this upgraded edition.  2016 Evoque comes with more appealing LED headlamps flanking a new grille design.  Bumper, too, has been thoroughly revised, and along with three different alloy wheel designs, round off the exterior styling. Inside the cabin, there is now a new eight inch touchscreen infotainment stacking the central console. It performs a wide range of media, telephony and navigation functions in addition to acting as screen for rear view display. Other changes include the introduction of new colors, seat covers and door panels.

Under the hood, new Evoque gets Ingenium range of oil burner which subscribes to Euro 6 emission norms. It displaces 2.2-litre, configured to 4-cylinder, and puts out max power of 180 PS. Power flows to the wheels via 9-speed automatic transmission system with additional might thrown in the form of all-wheel drive and terrain response system.  The SUV is up against the likes of BMW X6, Porsche Macan and upcoming Mercedes GLE coupe.
