A Yump is also referred as jump-starts. It can also be called a boost. It is a technique of starting an automobile with a discharged cranking battery. An impermanent connection is done with the battery of another vehicle. It is a temporary connection with other external power source. The electricity that is externally supplied recharges the deceased vehicle's battery. It gives the power that is needed to crank the engine of the vehicle. After the automobile has been started, it functions through the normal charging system that will be recharged automatically. Hence, the auxiliary source, then be removed. The external power supply is only needed until the charging system is not activated. Once the charging of the battery is restored, the vehicle can perform all its normal operations. Hill jumping also accelerates rally of the automobile when it tries to reach the top of the hill. It causes the automobile to go airborne. This activity is known as Yumping. This jumping generally takes place at the events such as rally racing.
