Mid Engine designed vehicle that has the placement of the engine in between the front and rear axles. Using this placement of the engine location the need of front to back shaft get eliminated. The performance of the car also gets improved as the power is directly delivered to the rear wheels through the transmission system of the vehicle. The only drawback of this placement type of the engine is the space of rear seat get very less. It is not much suited for the family vehicles. Many sport vehicles used this technology for delivering the power from engine to the wheels directly. The engine output ratios also get improved because of the Mid Engine setup that is very important in the sports cars. Even the fastest racing cars sport that is Formula one racing cars uses the same mid engine setup. By placing the engine of the vehicle in mid section of the vehicle it provide better traction to rear wheels and the better braking ability to the front wheels. It also helps vehicle to reduce the rear wheel lockup as well as even less possibility of spin out or skid. Using the Mid Engine system also helps the other safety feature to work better such as ABS as well as traction control. Mostly the vehicles with Mid Engine system only have two seats for the driver and one co-passenger.
