Etios Liva TRD Sportivo:Liva drew a lot of flak from both critics and customers’ alike when it made its Indian debut owing to its lifeless and unanimated design. Plain sheets haunted by square-ish profile inadvertently put the Liva in the design category of Logan that was certainly not a good thing to start with. However later Toyota addresses this bland design criticism by endowing Liva with some smart upholstery and clever colour splashing. In order to further appeal of its hatchback warrior, Toyota has also launched TRD Sportive version of the Liva which is essentially a Liva with added sporty body kit. Equipped with front, rear and roof spoilers, TRD version of Liva indeed looks racy in anundeniable manner. Further the addition of side skirts, body graphics and 15” alloy wheels have made the things spicier on Liva than before. Like outside, inside cabin too has got sheer presence of TRD sportive logo as this tag has been boldly emblazoned in the seat fabric. Silver finished gear lever goes an extra mile to enhance the sportiness and luxurious ambience of Liva. On power train front, TRD sportive package carry forward the diesel engine of ordinary Liva though rear zing has come under the hood of petrol Liva TRD where company has plonked the 1.5-litre Etios engine under Liva’s nose. With the 90 PS power at disposal, gasoline version of Liva TRD Sportive is surely enthusiasts’ car. Super light clutch and slick gear box supplement the fun-to-drive nature of this variant.
