8 July 2015 Honda Jazz has been launched at starting price of Rs 5.30 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). New model New Jazz is up against the likes of Swift, Polo, and Elite i20, and has been benefitted from the enhanced level of localization. Unlike the previous model which has nothing much on the front of engines and variants, new Jazz is having a host of features and variants on offer. New Jazz comes with both petrol and diesel engines, mated with manual and CVT (for petrol) transmissions. Petrol engine develops 90 PS of max power while in diesel this goes to 100 PS. Mileage stands at 18.7 km/l while CVT model gives a little extra rated at 19 km/l. Diesel, on the other hand, emerges as big mileage champion with ARAI certified figure of 27.3 km/l. This makes Honda Jazz the second most efficient car in the country after Celerio diesel. Space continuous to remain the strongest USP of Jazz. Magic seats along with best-in-class 354 litres of boot space frees up more room than any other car in its class. Consider the staggering 880 litres of trunk that Jazz opens up once you fold down the second bench. Equipment level is generous too as Jazz offers hordes of features, especially on top variants.
