In today's Indian car market there are decent small hatchback cars, which are good buys at entry level. Great ARAI fuel mileage, low entry cost, good discounts or offers and a decent drive experience for a small nuclear Indian car buying family.
Interested in buying a small hatchback car.
Small hatchback means following cars;
Maruti Alto K10
All these cars start under 3 lacs and are all quite good city run-about. Each of them have their positives and negatives.
Maruti Alto and Chevrolet Spark are undergoing a face lift soon, they are therefore not recommended by us.
WagonR, Santro and I10 one must say are older but competent cars, but its better to go for a newer car, as it will age much less compared to newer hatchback cars, when you plan to sell it in future.
Our preference would be Chevrolet Beat Diesel if your running is over 50 Kms per day, if its less then EON offers a good choice, it’s the most recent car, rest of the cars in the list are quite aged, even though most of them are still going strong.
EON is also most stylish, comfortable for a family of four, low on fuel consumption and its maintenance cost also will not hurt one’s pocket too much.
